Jack is now a mature smooth collie with impeccable blood lines, drawing from both rough and smooth collies of distinction, locally and internationally. He is a confident, well natured, and intelligent dog with correct head planes, fluid movement and meets the standard on all levels. He has been awarded by local and International judges at both Specialty and All Breed shows. Jack has sired two litters with his progeny carrying his sweet nature and qualities. Jack is now in retirement, living his best life at Jedford.

Max came to Jedford when he was 2 years old as a rehomed dog. His original owners were relocating to the UK and were looking for a new home for him. We had just lost our old rough collie Robbie and Jack was pining, so Max came to stay for a weekend to see if he fitted in, and he never left. We discovered later that he and Gypsy were related, with Max’s ½ brother being Gypsy’s father, and he was then known as ‘Uncle Max’ and has taken this role seriously. He is Uncle Max to any puppies we have he loved nothing better than being surrounded by collie babies. Max has the gentlest, easy-going nature and loves everyone.

Ch Vedamea Ticket To Heaven x Ch Pintado Soft Breeze

Gypsy made the journey from Baqilodge Collies in Tasmania to Jedford Collies to join our family when she was 10 weeks old. From the moment she bounced out of her travel crate at the airport, full of confidence and cheekiness, we knew we were going to have a fun time with this gorgeous girl. She hasn’t disappointed us and apart from being an amazing collie to live with, she has proved herself in the show ring with awards at the highest level at both Specialty and All breed shows. She is competes in Flyball and is close to gaining her Flyball Masters Excellent title. Gypsy has produced 2 litters of gorgeous puppies.

Scout is a daughter from Jack & Gypsy’s first litter. Scout was born just as COVID hit Australia and as such was not able to participate in any of the socialisation that we normally do with young puppies. She didn’t enjoy the show scene or dog sports as a result, so she is living her life at Jedford, enjoying activities at home. Scout has had 1 litter, and we plan to mate her next year for a mid-2025 litter.

Sasha is owned, loved, trained, and handled by Coral Moffat, NSW. Sasha has been awarded at Group and Specialty levels, with her latest achievement being Best In Show at the October Collie Club show. Plans for Sasha to have a litter late 2025 are under way.
